Hello,
is celebrated today with my children in school and kindergarten carnival. Torben wanted, after some time ago a Viking exhibition visit, be sure to go up as Vikings and is therefore now the terror of the seas ;-) Finja wanted to be a cat.
As I cut, I used Farbenmix Nala. Top and pants are made from black fleece, the ruffles, which serve as feet, from a kind of rough toweling. In the rear of the pants I sewed the tail with a white tip. And such a hood with Katzenöhrchen and ready. 
For Torben Viking costume I made a simple linen shirt, plus a blue cloak. I have the neck edged with bias tape, and decorated with the decorative stitch my sewing machine, I thought it looked appropriate. 
You can not always look like a Viking love ;-)
